Microsoft still dont care about browser compatibility

Great to see Microsoft making their own Windows Website compliant for use on Firefox – which atleast 15% of internet users use (more in some countries)

I still think it could go either way – but given some of the valuations banding about, one does wonder whether its sustainable for more than a year or two. The answer? maybe not; and definitely not if the current trajectory doesn’t get modified.

However, I’m unconvinced the markets en general are falling in love the same blind way they did in the 90’s. I also disagree with some of the assumption made (for example) in this article: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1895,2164136,00.asp   …mobile, for example, will not be the drop in the ocean that this article beleives. With 2.4 BILLION subsribers (thats twice as many as ‘regular’ internet users) the mobile will come to dominate our lives even more than it already has, over the coming 3 to 5 years.
